Ready for some creative fun? This week, we’re moving beyond the real world to invent our very own perfect animals! We’ll work in teams to bring our unique creatures to life. Come ready to brainstorm, laugh, and share your amazing ideas
Scientists in Germany have cast doubt on a previously believed assumption that the processing speed of our brain starts to decline from the age of 20.
This activity uses a story to promote discussion and problem-solving skills. Students are put into small groups and given one paragraph of a story at a time. After reading each paragraph, the groups will discuss possible solutions or advice for the character in the story.
Each participant takes on the role of a character in a murder mystery. One player is secretly assigned the role of the murderer. The other players try to solve the mystery by discussing and sharing information.
Begin with ‘Once Upon a Time’ and tell a story that links together all the dice images. Start with the first image to grab your attention. Use three cubes for the beginning, three for the middle and three for the end of the story.
Really, there are no rules to this game. Most importantly, there are no wrong answers!
All of us from a very early age are told how to live our lives. We’re given stories about what the perfect life looks like and some of those stories work for some people some of the time but not all of us all of the time. There’s no checklist that each of us should tick off in order to live a perfect life.
