“Small talk” refers to casual, light conversation about common or trivial matters, often used to socialize, break the ice, or establish a rapport. It’s not about delving into deep or personal topics, but rather about creating a comfortable atmosphere for interaction.

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to describe their dream travel destinations, which can not only be anywhere on earth or in the universe, but also at any time in history.

What’s the best food from your hometown? This week, we’ll become food experts and share the delicious signature dishes of Japan. Let’s practice our B1 descriptive English and learn about each other’s local culture in a fun, interactive “food fair”

This activity uses a story to promote discussion and problem-solving skills. Students are put into small groups and given one paragraph of a story at a time. After reading each paragraph, the groups will discuss possible solutions or advice for the character in the story.

The topic of the lesson will be, “When it Rome, should you always do as the Romans do?”
