In 2018 France France voted to ban smartphones and personal tablets from schools. Students aged between 3 and 15 are prohibited from bringing their devices to school. The ban is part of a campaign to reduce addiction to electronics.

An American pharmaceutical company called Allergan has developed eye drops that can treat an eye condition called presbyopia. This is when people’s close- up vision starts getting blurred.
